Sinulog Festival Cebu

The Sinulog Festival as a yearly occuring Event in January. It is held to honor the miraculous Image of Sto. Nino.

It comes along with a variety of different smaller events starting in December. The schedule and more about the history can be found on the official site of Sinulog.

Sinulog grand parade

The grand parade is held on January 15 in 2012

The Fluvial Procession of the Miraculous Image of Sto. Niño starts one day earlier January 14. 2012 It officially starts at 6:00 am but to get the best spots for spectators one has to be there at least 1 hour in advance. Good locations to have a look at this colorful boat procession are located close to the old bridge between Mactan Island and Cebu.
